The Capacity Building and Mentorship Program (CBMP) is a strategic collaboration aimed at bolstering health information systems at the sub-national level in Ethiopia. It is a partnership between ministry of health of Ethiopia and 6 local universities - Addis Ababa, Gondar, Haramaya, Hawassa, Jimma, & Mekelle universities. The partnership mainly aims to provide technical support to ministry of health and regional health bureaus on health information systems, digital health, and evidence generation on different health programs. The partnership is funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Ministry of Health, USAID through DHA and other funders.
