ConnectOne Bay Area

We are a new program serving San Mateo County. We pair adult volunteers with another adult who has a learning need & wants some help. "Volunteering made direct." Each learner is described directly on our website. By personalizing every need upfront, we hope to create great matches. We want to enable connections for versatile learning topics, aid adults in a developmental way, and give volunteers a flexible process & rewarding experience. Our ultimate vision is to be an ongoing platform where any adult with a learning goal can ask for help from someone in the broader community. With the social & economic diversity in the bay area, we especially want to give a voice to people with a higher goal, and simply lack access to anyone who can help. And in doing so, we hope to inspire more volunteers with a transparent & easy process. We give people the chance to meet, work with, & better understand someone in a social circle different from their own. By making these connections, our community improves, one person at a time.
