SPACE is a registered Organisation with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission of Republic of South Sudan.
Over the years, SPACE has transformed the traditional role of forum theater to engage in broader community intervention through additional participatory approaches in community engagement in the thematic areas of promoting economic empowerment, emergency responses, conflict resolution and peaceful coexistence, promoting democratic good governance and human rights, creating crosscutting awareness campaigns and advocacy on issues such as corruption, gender based violence, HIV/AIDS.

Our key target beneficiaries are Children, youth and women but we also work in collaboration with the local authorities, community leaders and institutions for effective implementation of our projects and get support from government officials and other duty bearers.
We are currently implementing projects in the areas of Democracy and good governance, Women peace and security, gender equality, Conflict resolution and Peacebuilding, financial accountability, active citizenship, child protection, and youth leadership skills development.
SpACE prides with a rich experience in participatory community engagement approaches which reduce the sensitivity of an issues and allow interaction, reflection and experience sharing and learning. These methods include but are not limited to Forum theatre/participatory drama, live public debate on radio, interactive radio drama and puppetry.
