Central Ballroom Dance

Central Ballroom Dance is a student-led extracurricular organization at Central Connecticut State University, dedicated to the study and practice of ballroom and social dance. Showcasing a globally diverse and timeless collection of styles—including Waltz, Tango, and Salsa—the club provides an engaging educational environment for students to explore the artistry, stories, and cultural heritage of ballroom dances. Beyond artistic and social dimensions, ballroom dance cultivates coordination, spatial awareness, and cognitive agility while fostering discipline, teamwork, and adaptability.
