CERACLAD was created as a subsidiary of KMEW Japan, a wholly owned subsidiary of two Japanese industry titans, Panasonic (established in 1918) and Kubota Corporation (established in 1890). CERACLAD began producing cladding in Japan in the 1980s and currently operates four factories and an R&D laboratory in Japan, delivering products across the world. Our success has been driven by research and development of cutting-edge technology, culminating in the launch of the world's first zero-maintenance "Triple Coating Finish System" that protects the color layer with a “Ceramic Coating” and a "Photocatalytic Coating." CERACLAD was introduced in the USA in 2002 in Redmond, Washington, and currently provides products throughout North America as the CERACLAD™ TRIPLE COATING System. Architects embrace and trust the quality of CERACLAD, and as a result, more than 2,000 buildings, mainly non-residential apartments, mixed-use developments, medical facilities, educational institutions, offices, and retail spaces, are now protected by CERACLAD.
