ROK-ON™ Building Systems manufactures green building products that allow contractors/builders to meet new mandatory fire & energy codes with structural products that are fire, rot, mold & termite resistant that greatly improve the energy efficiency of buildings installed which is installed in 50% less time compared to traditional code compliant wall assemblies.
The company's focused on providing a high-performance, lower-cost solution for exterior walls, which exceed North American building codes for energy & fire performance. Our proprietary fiberglass reinforced ceramic cement sheathing is laminated to EPS foam to create a thin structural panel that's attached directly to framing as the exterior insulated sheathing.
The product's non-combustible, will not, support mold or mildew, is water resistant, impact resistant & bug proof. It requires no special tools to install & contains no harmful ingredients. The system can accept direct application of finishes such as stucco, metal panels, brick, stone, veneers, etc., allowing for tremendous architectural flexibility while saving time & money. We're fully tested to meet or exceed all 2015 IBC building codes & fully insured.
Most importantly, the system replaces several layers & steps required in other wall systems to be code compliant. It can be fully installed & finished in just 3 steps versus the 8-11 steps of a traditional EIFS system. ROK-ON™ can be installed on a frame in about the same time as just the Dens Glass® (or other first layer of sheathing) & is then finished directly. This saves a tremendous amount on labor & can subtract weeks/months off the construction timeline, outside of prefabrication.
Moreover, our systems ideal to manufacture prefabricated wall assemblies. Prefabrication can significantly reduce the construction time & lead to earlier occupancy.
