The CGI Registrars' Group represents share registrars in the United Kingdom. The group seeks to:
• Shape opinion
• Share relevant information, both through the committee and the CGI website
• Develop best practice
• Agree and disseminate a common approach to technical issues
• Represent the views of the share registration industry and issuers both in the UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe
• Conduct correspondence with and meet other professional bodies, organisations, interest groups, information providers etc.
• Encourage others to qualify for membership of CGI
