บริษัท ซีเกรน เทคโนโลยี่ จำกัด ได้สร้างขึ้นมาจากความตั้งใจของคุณตระกูล จันทสาร ที่ต้องการจะยกระดับมาตรฐานการรักษาคุณภาพ ‘ข้าว’ ซึ่งเป็นตัวแปรหลักในระบบเศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทยให้สูงขึ้นเพื่อตอบรับกับความต้องการของผู้ซื้อและผู้บริโภคที่ต้องการสินค้าคุณภาพ ปัญหาแรกที่คุณตระกูลเล็งเห็นคือ อุณหภูมิที่สูงมากของประเทศไทย ซึ่งส่งผลให้ข้าวเสื่อมคุณภาพเร็วกว่าที่ควรจะเป็น ทางคุณตระกูลจึงเริ่มแนะนำระบบการจัดเก็บข้าวด้วยเครื่องเป่าลมเย็น (Grain Chiller) โดยเริ่มแนะนำวิธีการจัดเก็บแบบเป่าเย็นให้กับโรงสีข้าวในภาคอีสานเป็นจังหวัดแรกๆ ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2548 หลังจากนั้นไม่นานลูกค้าเริ่มเล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการรักษาคุณภาพข้าวกันมากขึ้น
บริษัท ซีเกรน เทคโนโลยี่ จำกัด จึงได้รับความไว้วางใจจากลูกค้ากลุ่มโรงสี และผู้ส่งออกข้าว ให้วางระบบจัดเก็บที่มีระบบเป่าเย็น และพัดลมเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ หลังจากบริษัท ซีเกรน เทคโนโลยี่ จำกัด ก็เริ่มเป็นที่รู้จักกันในวงการข้าวมากขึ้น คุณตระกูลจึงคิดค้นและสรรหาเทคโนโลยี่และผลิตภัณฑ์ที่หลากหลายมากขึ้นเพื่อมาตอบโจทย์และแก้ไขปัญหาให้ตรงกับความต้องการของลูกค้า
