The CGS Young Professionals Conference (CGS YPC) is an event held every three years, focusing on providing a networking and professional development opportunity to students and early-career professionals. Where: Wasagaming, MB When: September 18 – 20, 2025 The theme of the 2025 CGS YPC (8th iteration) is "Collective Impact". By working together and leveraging the strengths of different stakeholders, we can address complex challenges and create a more equitable, resilient, and prosperous future for our communities and society. Geotechnical engineering and earth sciences combine the efforts of consultants, contractors, suppliers, public domains/governments, and impacted communities. This theme emphasizes the importance of bringing together diverse groups, organizations, and individuals to work collaboratively toward a common goal. It underscores the idea that by bringing together resources, expertise, and efforts, we can achieve meaningful and sustainable change in our communities, and society as a whole.
