CHANCEN eG

Every student should have equal opportunities in accessing higher education institutions and the freedom to choose how they realise their career aspirations. CHANCEN eG offers the Income Share Agreement (ISA) to students in Germany, making this a reality for students as it is based on future income rather than a student’s current financial status. The Income Share Agreement has been covering private education tuition fees for over 20 years. Initially it was offered at Witten/Herdecke University by the StudierendenGeselschaft (SG) and now two former board members have made it available to students across Germany. Since 2016 CHANCEN eG partnered with 8 universities covering 50 degree programmes and 200 students have benefited from this model. CHANCEN is also in the process of setting up the ISA model in Rwanda and South Africa. Ensuring that more young people have access to education.
