Your Support Charitable Foundation “Tvoya Opora” - the project “HELP UKRAINE! STOP WAR!”. The project was created by the Foundation after the war broke out in February this year. Six million Ukrainians are in urgent need of medical care. Under this project we provide humanitarian assistance to orphanages, children, medical institutions, wounded and civilians affected by the hostilities in Ukraine. The Foundation is already supporting: 67 hospitals, maternity hospitals and medical institutions in 20 different regions, 26 orphanages and 1 shelter for temporary migrants in Lviv. About the Foundation: Your Support Charitable Foundation is a transparent organisation and one of the few charities in Ukraine which has its accounts audited on annual basis. The Foundation was founded by Valeria Tatarchuk in 2014, who is also a Managing Director. Foundation’s Trustee: Honorary Ambassador of UNFPA Masha Efrosinina The foundation was created to help seriously ill children and orphans. The Foundation operates in the following areas: - assistance to children with congenital heart disease is the largest project of the fund, within which we help and support key medical institutions in Ukraine; - assistance and care for orphanages; - targeted assistance to individual children. The mission of the Foundation is to return joy and freedom of life to children. The Foundation is the only organization from Ukraine which became a member of the WorldHeart Federation. The foundation's activities are mostly focused on children with congenital heart defects, of which more than 5,000 are born each year, of which about 800 die. During the quarantine in 2020, the Your Support Foundation raised more than UAH 72,000,000(USD 2,409,624), which was spent on the purchase of medical equipment, protective suits and other consumables for hospitals that accept patients with COVID-19.
