In celebration of 100 years of operation Newcastle Permanent created the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation which commenced operation in 2003.
The Newcastle Permanent Community Foundation Company Limited is the trustee of the Foundation and is represented by a Board of Directors including three Directors of Newcastle Permanent and two community Directors.
Each year, the Foundation provides more than $1.5 million in grants to eligible not-for-profit community organisations across the Hunter, Central Coast, Central West, Mid North Coast, New England and Northern Rivers regions.
These grants are provided for important projects, initiatives and programs which support the disadvantaged and those in need in our community specifically in the areas of health, social wellbeing and young people.
We believe the Foundation is now one of the largest regionally-based charitable foundations in Australia. Our annual community grant program is entirely self-sustaining so it will be here supporting the community for good.
