Our History:
In 1976, Charles (Skip) Nedrow made his mark on the Midwest by offering a range of refractory construction services. Bringing his expertise in refractory products and applications, James (Jim) Chase joined four years later to forge Chase Nedrow Industries. What started with serving the refractory consuming industries evolved into refractory special shapes, installation services, high emissivity coatings, and beyond. From our headquarters in Wixom, Michigan, we expanded our reach across North America through our commitment to quality, attention to detail, and customer service.
From embracing early advancements in low moisture, low cement castables to leveraging modern castables coupled with our 2400°F firing capabilities, we have consistently stayed on the cutting edge. Our partnership with Emisshield in 2015 furthered this lead by making space-certified technology available to our customers. Today, we proudly serve refractory consumers across a myriad of industries, including ethanol, biofuels, power generation, biomass, steel, foundry, process boilers, kilns, chemical processing, heat treating, and beyond.
