The US is facing an epidemic of senior loneliness and social isolation, “as damaging to health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day”. We're on a mission to alleviate this incredible burden on our aging populations.
Demand for senior home care is rising at substantial, unsustainable rates. In 2034, Americans over the age of 65 will outnumber those under the age of 18 for the first time in US history.
In addition, the 3.5 million Caregivers in the US are overworked, underpaid, and under-appreciated. One in eight Caregivers live in poverty, and three quarters make less than the living wage for their state. Unsurprisingly, turnover within the home health industry is 82%+ annually.
We believe our aging loved ones and their caregivers deserve better. We can do better.
