Cherish is a 501(c)(3) child advocacy center (CAC) founded in 2009 that provides abuse intervention and prevention services to the community. Cherish is Hamilton County's only CAC and also serves Tipton and other counties on request. We are Nationally Accredited and provide a neutral, supportive, safe place where children and teens can talk. All of our employees are trained child forensic interviewers. Cherish provides referrals, and community education. Cherish brings together a strong network of quality child services defined as a Multi-Disciplinary Team dedicated to decreasing violent harm to children and increasing thriving children and families in our communities.
Cherish does not charge for its services. We provide education, emotional support, assessments, and refer for services for more specialized support such as counseling, trauma therapy, or medical services.
