Formed in 1986 the IFMA Chesapeake Chapter strives to supply resources and information to facility managers for all stages of their careers. We offer:
EDUCATION: offer our members ongoing opportunities to learn about new technologies, programs, and other information needed to keep their buildings and maintenance programs in top form;
ENGAGEMENT: offer our members opportunities to meet each other to share ideas, strategies, and possibly other resources including other organizations by attending meetings, participating in committees, presenting at meetings;
ENCOURAGEMENT: offer our members professional development opportunities to take their careers further;
CERTIFICATION: offers classes to obtain the FMP and SFP credentials; and offers review classes to obtain the CFM credential, all at reduced rates for chapter members and IFMA members.
