Cheshire Dance

Cheshire Dance is a registered charity and an established ‘’social enterprise’’ and celebrated its 40th birthday in 2016. Our aim is to ensure everyone has access to dance. We lead the artistic provision and support of dance across Cheshire and are committed to increasing access and transforming lives through dance. We work with participants of all ages and abilities. Many of our activities concentrate upon people who have little opportunity to engage in the arts. We work in close partnership with others in the arts and in fields of practice where dance can make a difference. We engage specialist practitioners and deliver continuing professional development and training opportunities for artists and people working with dance in alternative settings. Cheshire Dance is an Arts Council National Portfolio organisation and is also funded by Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East.
