Chicken Van Man’s Original Marinade was perfected in England by an Aussie of Thai and Lao heritage. Anu, Founder of Chicken Van Man, quit his Singapore-based job in December 2021 to yo-yo between the UK and Australia with his wife and two babies. When he wasn’t travelling, England was called home. And on every Monday night, it was his responsibility to cook for his wife, kids, parents-in-laws, extended family and the occasional visitor. What started as a failed attempt to make authentic jerk chicken, turned into a fusion of flavours best described as chicken, “caramelised with a little kick.” Passionate about cooking and even more so about sharing experiences, Anu wants to bring world class flavours to your fingertips – starting in his hometown Wollongong NSW.
