Dr. Wong is a paediatric surgeon accredited by the Ministry of Health. After graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS), he trained in paediatric surgery and urology in National University Hospital (NUH), King’s College Hospital / Harris Birthright Centre for Fetal Medicine, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He was awarded the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUHS Pitch for Funds Grant. While in the UK, he won the British Association of Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons’ (BAPES) Travelling Fellowship and undertook the BAPES Advanced Minimal Access Scholarship Course in Paediatric Surgery and Urology. He presented his work at the European Paediatric Surgeons’ Association and British Association of Paediatric Surgeons’ annual meetings.
Dr. Wong treats general surgery and urology conditions in babies, children and adolescents. He aims to achieve the correct diagnoses in patients and surgeries with good outcomes. He believes that patients, parents and caregivers are his best partners. He loves quality family time with his wife and children, and understands the challenges of parenting especially when children fall sick. Services provided:
