I’m Sandra Benn, Founder of Chiya & Chai.
I don’t sell tea anymore (and I don’t import it for my tastings).
I create experiences with it – guided tastings for private groups, social occasions and the travel trade.
Whether it’s a quiet afternoon with friends, a tea event with depth or something special for visiting guests, I bring people together through tea – one cup at a time.
Private Tastings
These are intimate tea experiences hosted in homes or small venues. Ideal for birthdays, celebrations or simply reconnecting.
Tea Socials
Relaxed, informal gatherings where guests can explore a range of teas together. A good option if you’re curious but casual.
Travel Trade
I partner with DMCs and tour operators to offer something different – an immersive tasting that weaves in Scotland’s lesser known tea heritage.
