PekoeTea of Edinburgh was established in 2008. We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have with our suppliers from around the world and we trade ethically with small companies and estates, guaranteeing the freshest and highest quality teas available. We have one of the best ranges of high-grade loose-leaf tea in Scotland and most of our teas are imported from source.
In 2018 we built a dedicated blending and flavouring factory in Leith in Edinburgh, where we now make all our blends from scratch.
It matters to us that our customers, both wholesale and retail, are 100% satisfied every time and we aim to achieve this by providing clear and accurate information and warm and informed customer service.
A large proportion of our trade is through wholesale supply to other catering and retail outlets. You can find out more about our wholesale services here.
In addition to our teas, we also sell locally sourced, freshly roasted coffee and handmade chocolate bars from companies with similar philosophies to ours and have developed reciprocal partnerships.
We opened our first retail shop and tea bar in Edinburgh in late 2010. Here you can browse and buy our extensive selection of loose teas, coffees, chocolate bars and accessories or sit and enjoy one of our teas made expertly every time.
