Chris Tech achieved a pivotal milestone In 1994, by securing a developmental order from MTNL/Department of Telecommunications to design and develop an import-substitute test system from Alcatel, France. This Computerized Functional Test System was specifically engineered for testing and repairing PCBs in telephone exchanges. The system was successfully developed, rigorously evaluated, and subsequently approved by the Department of Telecommunications and MTNL for integration into their maintenance network throughout India. This initiative represented a groundbreaking advancement in the nation’s telecommunications sector, offering a sophisticated and cost-effective alternative to imported equipment.
