The Centre for Infectious Diseases Research (CIDR) is one of the Centres established by Bayero University Kano in 2015. Located in the College of Health Sciences within the premises of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, the centre's mission is to strengthen health systems towards combating infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa through cutting edge research and capacity building.
