About CinTurs PhD Network

CinTurs is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and is settled at the University of Algarve (UAlg), being the Algarve is the most important Portuguese tourism destination. The mission of CinTurs is the development and transfer of knowledge towards the sustainable development of tourism destinations and the well-being of tourists, visited communities, and employees in the tourism industry. The CinTurs Ph.D. Network aims to stimulate the three main research areas of CinTurs, and also to promote the integration between all CinTurs research members and its doctoral students creating an environment to provide the cooperation and assistance they need during their education.
