Civic Tech Moncton

Who are we? We are a group of volunteers committed to understanding the needs of the Greater Moncton community, which is our home. We generate solutions by leveraging technology and building impactful connections with community members, civic organizations, and non-profits. We utilize our diverse skills in projects and activities to contribute to the solution. Our work aligns with Canada's broader civic tech movement, including organizations like Code for Canada https://codefor.ca/ which fosters collaboration between technologists, public servants, and communities to create inclusive, accessible digital solutions. Connecting with this national network strengthens our ability to drive meaningful, tech-powered change in Greater Moncton. Mission We are dedicated to improving the quality of life in Greater Moncton through technology and data. We do this by bringing our community together to design, build, and implement innovative technological solutions. Vision To build a digitally empowered Greater Moncton where civic and non-profit organizations thrive by fostering innovation and collaboration through open-source solutions. Our goal is to uplift underserved populations and ensure that everyone in Greater Moncton has access to inclusive, accessible and effective digitalized public services.
