Climate Analytics Caribbean

Climate Analytics Caribbean significantly augments the scientifically informed, knowledge-based resources which SIDS and LDCs in the Caribbean region require to effectively counter the effects of climate change. Our Mission: to address the gap between regional advocacy on climate change at the global level and regional/domestic action in support of climate objectives through: • Creating the necessary policy and legislative frameworks to address the governance gap so as to indigenise the Paris Agreement and enable its implementation in line with regional sustainable development priorities • Supporting regional civil society and building their capacity to engage with regional governments to make a greater impact at all levels including through possible climate litigation. • Working with regional civil society to develop and implement a regional vision for climate justice relevant at the domestic, regional and international levels. • Providing thought leadership in partnership with regional institutions to address interlinkages between climate change with other areas such as trade, security and investment.
