The Climate Knowledge Collective (CKCollective) is a global initiative preserving women’s knowledge at the intersection of climate justice, culture, and resilience. Founded in 2024, CKC documents innovative, community-based, women-centered responses to climate change through oral histories, data, and storytelling.
We amplify the voices of women on the frontlines of environmental change—farmers, weavers, educators, health workers, and artists—whose lived experiences hold powerful insight into climate adaptation and ecological care. By combining in-depth research with multimedia storytelling, including oral history interviews, ArcGIS StoryMaps, and data visualizations, we curate a growing open-access archive of community-driven climate knowledge.
Our mission is to ensure these stories are not only preserved for future generations but serve as a foundation for collaboration, policy influence, and climate action rooted in equity. With a transnational network of scholars, local partners, and communities, CKC works to elevate feminist approaches to climate resilience—honoring those most impacted and centering their knowledge in the global response.
