Climate Undone

Climate Undone is a not-for-profit initiative reimagining how India’s urban communities engage with climate change. Too often, climate conversations in India are either highly technical or focused on rural conservation, leaving city dwellers feeling distant or disempowered. Climate Undone brings cities into the heart of the story. We host participatory, science-based workshops that make climate systems understandable, personal and actionable. Our offerings include internationally recognised tools like Climate Fresk, Biodiversity Collage and the Planetary Boundaries Fresco workshop, adapted for Indian urban contexts. Our approach is rooted in care, inclusion and systems thinking. We prioritise collective learning, multilingual access and facilitation methods that make room for uncertainty, reflection and action. This isn’t about blame or urgency. It’s about building relationships, making sense of complexity and creating space for responses that fit the rhythm and reality of city life. We focus on Indian cities not because they are the only sites of change, but because they are often overlooked in climate discourse, despite being home to over 400 million people.
