We specialise in working with the advertising, broadcast, media and production sectors to evaluate environmental performance and set net zero targets. Our deep expertise in these sectors allow us to understand the unique challenges these sectors face. Our services range from measuring and reporting in scopes 1,2,3, to goal setting and strategy to meet organisation goals. We use this data to report into frameworks such as CDP and EcoVadis. We help our clients set and manage their SBTi goals and manage the process to incorporate business co-benefits. Clima is run by Victoria Harvey with consulting work from Rachel Smy and others. Victoria Harvey has fifteen years’ experience as a business director, with ten years’ as a sustainability director, focused on sustainability in the media and advertising sectors. She has a master’s in International Development, a diploma in Environmental Management, and is a practitioner member of IEMA, the UK body for suitability professionals. She works as an advisor to the media industry on low carbon methodologies as well as working on a PhD which addresses emissions organisational transitions in the UK advertising sector. Rachel Smy co-founded Clima and worked with the team until summer 2024 when she went to work in-house full time at an agency. Rachel has 25 years’ experience in the communications and media industry and is a specialist in Environmental Management Systems and compliance including ISO14001. For twelve years’ she implemented and created the Environmental Management System (audited to ISO14001:2015) across 6 Ogilvy Group/WPP companies: Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, Ogilvy One, H&O, Neo@Ogilvy, Ogilvy PR, Coley Porter Bell & GTB.
