At ClipDart, our purpose comes from the personal journey of our Founder/CEO, Kyle Parker. While attending Grinnell College in Iowa, Kyle, who has coarse hair, lost complete access to culturally competent haircare which made him realize just how vital haircare is to one’s mental wellness, especially for historically marginalized and underserved communities. Motivated by his own struggles, Kyle founded ClipDart to ensure that everyone—regardless of their background—can overcome haircare inequity and feel their best!

ClipDart is made up of two organizations: ClipDart, Inc. and The ClipDart Giveback.
ClipDart, Inc. (CD) is a B2B social enterprise focused on providing on-site and culturally competent haircare to those with restricted access, particularly those in underrepresented communities. We partner with colleges, K-12 schools, housing communities, and more to enhance mental wellness and foster community engagement!
The ClipDart Giveback (CDG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving the most historically marginalized & undeserved communities, experiencing severe socioeconomic inequities. Through donations, grant funding, and 5% of CD’s profits, we provide on-site and culturally competent haircare services to those who need it most!
