Contract Negotiations, Review & Monitoring Successful construction projects depend on a fair and competitive contractor selection process and having a clear and fair contract between the owner and general contractor. C&M has developed a process for contract review and is adept with negotiations. Over the years, we have saved owners money and reduced risk while allowing the contractor a fair profit for quality work. Process Improvement We review contracts and clearly define the “costs of work” for contracts that reduce risk while being fair to both owners and contractors. We create pay application procedures to process monthly pay apps effectively and efficiently and a project budget forecasting system to allow accurate forecasts. GMP Review Our GMP reviews make sure the costs are fair, accurate, within the guidelines of the contract, enforceable, and proactively monitored in detail during construction and closeout. Our clients include some well-known local and national companies and institutions in the areas of sports facilities, colleges and universities, state and local governments, data centers, and other facilities such as medical, hospitality, corporate, private with ground-up construction, and tenant improvement projects.
