The Canadian Medical Equipment Protection Plan (CMEPP) was created in 1996 by a group of six hospitals who realized they were paying too much for their medical equipment management services. Those early founders used their own knowledge and understanding of medical devices to ensure CMEPP had a focus on lowering risk, reliable maintenance management, and delivering hard dollar savings to the bottom line.
Today, strong relationships, flexibility and being a trusted advisor are the cornerstones of our work. We provide innovative service solutions to over 77 healthcare organizations located on more than 250 sites across Canada. We also partner with more than 100 medical equipment Suppliers.
CMEPP members can now access a portal that gives them data in real time about their equipment, preventative maintenance schedule, and a Supplier Scorecard to help them make better decisions.
