CMT Laboratories, Inc.

CMT provided geotechnical and geostructural engineering services for projects in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and New York. CMT is a member of the American Council of Independent Laboratories and has been awarded accreditation through AASHTO’s Material Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and Cement and Concrete Laboratory (CCRL). The laboratory was qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and added to their list of approved testing laboratories. CMT is also listed as a qualified commercial laboratory to conduct material testing for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The firm has received certification and is listed on the approved test boring contractors list prepared by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. CMT Laboratories also provides construction material testing services on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates and steel-related inspection. CMT provides Special Inspection services in accordance with the 2009 International Building Code. All of our full-time field technicians have been certified to use the Troxler nuclear density gauges. Additionally, we have personnel on staff who are certified by technical groups including NICET and PennDOT.
