The Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) credential is the preeminent, global designation for practitioners of technical analysis. Earning the CMT demonstrates mastery of a core body of knowledge of investment risk in portfolio management; including quantitative approaches to market research and rules based trading system design and testing.
The CBOK is packaged into a custom curriculum organized into exam specific knowledge domains that provide a framework for recognizing and implementing investment/trading decisions. The program requires three levels of examination, each building on the previous. The levels progressively narrow in focus while increasing the emphasis on higher-order reasoning.
