Our product line includes syntactic and solid polymer materials available in a variety of sizes in the form of rod, sheet or block. We offer custom casting operations for large or difficult to form plugs and custom cuts to ensure customer operations remain as efficient as possible. These products are used to reduce starting gauge thickness to minimize plastic waste. Thinner plastic means faster cycle and startup times - higher output at lower energy costs. Optimized plug materials minimize the chance of plug mark, increase product clarity/transparency and allow for higher crush strength. Established in 1998, CMT recently expanded to include direct warehousing and sales operations in Europe. We also maintain a network of sales partners around the world. CMT specialists provide assistance with material selection for plug assist/tool board needs, design ideas, machining/processing guides and instructions for working with syntactic foam.
