The Clinical Neurosurgical Research Network (CNRN) was founded in 2020 by Prof. Soleman and is under his leadership. It serves as a central platform for the coordination and support of clinical research projects at the Department of Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery in Basel.
Our aim is to optimize and professionalize neurosurgical research, always with the ultimate goal of improving the care and quality of life of our patients. At the same time, we are committed to training future generations of female doctors in order to support them in their scientific careers and to inspire them for research.
The CNRN is characterized by a diverse and broad-based team that offers support in areas such as study coordination, study planning, project management, data management, resource planning and process optimization. Through our close collaboration with the Department of Clinical Research (DKF), the Ethics Committee and the laboratory researchers of the Department of Biomedicine (DBM), we promote a strong link between clinical and translational research.
Together, we create a reliable basis for efficiently implementing innovative research and ensuring that the latest findings directly benefit patients.
