Vision Zero Community: the UK’s platform for road safety professionals Across the UK, dedicated professionals are working to reduce road deaths and serious injuries. But real, lasting change requires us to go further - to connect, collaborate and coordinate our efforts like never before. The Co-Pilot Vision Zero Community is a first-of-its-kind digital platform - part social media network, part professional hub - built specifically for the road safety sector. With over 300 members and growing weekly, it brings together professionals from every corner of the system: Practitioners, educators, enforcers, engineers, driver trainers, policymakers, campaigners and researchers - all united by one goal: to end road trauma. With the UK Government’s new Road Safety Strategy expected soon, Co-Pilot members are well placed to respond and collaborate on its delivery. The Community has been purpose-built to support alignment across sectors and to ensure that those leading this work are connected, equipped and ready to act. Vision Zero Toolbox: the resource library for road safety professionals Many believe that the boom-and-bust cycle of local resource development is no longer working. Co-Pilot develops and evaluates road safety interventions collaboratively, sharing the cost through pooled subscription fees and invites members to be as involved in the creative process as they choose. This model means the quality and quantity of materials greatly exceed what can be generated on a local or regional level. It also leaves members with more time and energy to do what they do best - delivery.
