About Code Black Indy, Inc.
CBI, Inc. is a regional organization based in Indianapolis, IN. It was established to promote coding literacy and educational development in technology, aiming to enhance the overall participation in computer science. CBI, Inc. is an independent non-profit organization that seeks to create opportunities and broaden the tech community by empowering youths in Indiana to be productive in whatever career path they choose to follow rooted in tech. It also seeks to empower youths in the area of governance, the advancement of the economy, and the promotion of self-sufficiency. We are also deeply involved in advocacy for youth development and youth participation in entrepreneurship and innovation for a better world through the use of technology. We are quite aware that limited access to resources can hinder individual progress. From our research and investigation, we realized that people, most often than not, go into crime when they are not gainfully employed or when they are not exposed to resources for more choices that could enlighten them to a different path.
