CODE Community was born out of the delivery of Skills Bootcamps (funded by the Department of Education) over the last 3 years and to over 400 learners throughout Lancashire and Cumbria. What we learned, as we delivered 12 cohorts across two regions, is that tech brings people together. People with a shared passion for tech whether as a hobby, career or aspiration to learn, people need tech, are inquisitive and curious about tech and how it can change our lives for the better. Delivering 12 cohorts over, we've connected and brought together industry experts as facilitators, attracted a diverse range of tech enthusiasts and enthusiasts keen to change career or find their first job in tech. We've seen transformation and lives change as a result of the learning and support receive by being part of the CODE community. As funding and programme changes we want to ensure we continue to evolve and provide the environment for anyone and everyone to embrace tech, learn new skills, meet new people and connect. Whether you're a recent Graduate who needs some support in that first career step, a career changer with plenty of enthusiasm but need of support navigating your way in to the world of tech, a hiring manager looking for new tech talent for your teams or a business owner/freelancer looking to grow your network, we have a place to help.
