commUnity+ Legal

We improve the lives of the most disadvantaged and marginalised members of the community in the West. We aim to resolve their legal issues through the delivery of client-centred, holistic, collaborative, high quality and specialised legal advice and assistance. commUnity+ Legal, formerly called Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre, provides free legal services for people who live, work or study in the Brimbank, Melton and Bacchus Marsh communities. BMCLC has a main office in St Albans, open Monday to Friday and outreach clinics in Sunshine, Melton, Braybrook and Keilor Downs. We run a range of generalist and specialist legal clinics, as well as outreach services through key community organisations. We also conduct casework and provide legal representation for eligible clients. BMCLC is funded by the State and Commonwealth governments and is supported through philanthropic project funding. BMCLC is a program of Comm Unity Plus Services Ltd (commUnity+), a multi-disciplinary community agency that provides services across Victoria while looking for opportunities to deliver programs and support to people experiencing disadvantage or hardship in communities rich in cultural diversity (https://www.comm-unityplus.org.au/).
