Since inception we have hosted 427 pop-ups, dressed 18,148 people dressed and recirculated 41,066 garments. To date this year, we have assisted 1,725 people through our community partners. These relationships are built on a mutual desire to see our people thrive, and it is through these cooperative community organisations, many grassroots, that we are connecting and building, supporting one-another where council and wider funding is lacking.
Through Saturdays, our brick-and-mortar store and web store, we aim to encourage more people to engage in second-hand fashion and to rotate their wardrobes with us, encouraging re-use culture and democratising access to second-hand.
Saturdays contributes towards our everyday expenses such as gas, storage space and insurance—the overheads that get clothing into the hands of people experiencing poverty.
