About Common Project Artisan Market

Spending twenty-five plus years in the fashion apparel and textile industry, Debora led design, merchandising and sourcing teams developing national and international brands. No longer content to use business solely for profit, Debora passionately pursues opportunities to use creativity for positive impact in the lives and communities of others. Debora’s vision to leverage business as a tool to minister to vulnerable populations has led her to launch Common Project Artisan Market. Debora brings creative solutions that create hope and generate opportunity for better lives. Debora holds an M.A. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Cross-Cultural Ministry and a B.S. from Texas Tech University in Clothing & Textiles. Common Project Artisan Market's mission is to engage in sustainable partnerships with artisan brands, both local and global, connecting them with customers through a pop-up marketplace. We seek to empower brands that enable artisans to rise above poverty, support their families and aspire to be change-makers in their communities, creating a brighter future for all. Our artisan brands address some of today’s most pressing social, economic, environmental and spiritual issues–using the power of business to improve the quality of lives. We collaborate with small local and global artisan brands to expand product distribution and access to markets. By enabling artisan brands to reach more customers, Common Project promotes economic opportunity for those who live and work in marginalized communities.
