We plan to do this by undertaking research activities and investigations, and collaborating on strategies that bring balance to our digital worlds, ensuring future generations enjoy the benefits of technologies, without becoming subservient to its power.
CommonEdge was founded by Sam de Silva who works at the overlaps of technology, culture, human rights and info/communications.
The motivation to establish CommonEdge is to enable collaborators to come together to take on challenges that require a multi-disciplinary approach, and that one person is not able to adequately solve.
CommonEdge aims to a lean operation, and is happy to work with other specialists, organisations and funders to explore and solve the challenges caused by current and emerging tech.
