A learning design company grounded in creating curriculum and instructional resources designed for, and with, diverse communities. Our team has extensive experiences creating curriculum with educators that aligns to state/national standards and scholarship around authentic and compelling pedagogical approaches—but also intentionally centering students of diverse backgrounds. We design using inquiry-based learning and culturally sustaining pedagogies in social studies, english language arts, and the humanities, generally. Likewise, we design with focus on local particularities that support locally-relevant connections and authenticity to students' lived experiences. Our services include curriculum and instructional design and resource adaptation, workshops for collaborative design processes, professional learning, and general consultation related to inquiry, culturally sustaining pedagogies, civic engagement, and other learning design topics.
