Commercial Communications Council (Comms Council) Protecting the right to advertise and celebrating the collective creative power of the NZ communications industry, on behalf of our member agencies. Comms Council provides industry specific professional development programmes, and coordinate seminars and events across a range of disciplines. Our award shows celebrate the achievements of the industry - including the Effie Awards, AXIS Awards and Media Awards. From 2012 onwards, Comms Council is also a partner in the NZ Agency of the Year Awards. Our member agencies share a combined turnover of approximately $1 billion, collectively representing 95 percent of agency billings in New Zealand. Members cover creative, media, digital and marketing communication disciplines.
