Having cultivated lessons learned from global development experiences in inclusive social accountability, and fragility, conflict and violence prevention, Community Development Insights was established by Mehreen Farooq to support communities to achieve meaningful, and lasting change. We recognize that community development lies at the core of most social impact challenges - whether it is peace building, strengthening responsive and accountable governance, or advocating for social justice. It requires bringing diverse stakeholders together, fostering a safe space to coalesce, and developing strategic priorities, and executing action plans — primarily using resources and assets that stakeholders already have. At Community Development Insights, we adopt a participatory and collaborative approach, working closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and tailor our services accordingly. We are committed to building the capacity of community development practitioners, empowering them to lead and manage effective programs that create positive and lasting change.
