CLS CBO philosophy of operation is inspired by the doctrine of community led approaches to development. The latter puts community at the center of its change narrative and processes. Through our philosophy, vision, and mission, CLS CBO seeks to empower communities, foster local ownership, and catalyze sustainable change. Governance, Social Accountability and Budget Advocacy: With a strong emphasis on community empowerment and participation, CLS works closely with local communities to identify and address key governance challenges, ensuring transparency, inclusivity, and effective decision-making processes. 2. Child Protection and Safeguarding: CLS recognizes the importance of safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being. The organization implements programs and projects aimed at promoting child protection, preventing child abuse, and creating a safe environment for children in the community. 3. Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction: CLS acknowledges the urgent need to address climate change and its impacts on communities. The organization actively engages in climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives at the grassroots level and is very keen on the localization agenda of climate change knowledge. 4. Holistic Health: CLS places great emphasis on improving health outcomes within communities.
