Community Supporters aims to support and develop the capacity and skills of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Rother (East Sussex). The organisation does this by using nature-based solutions to help the community better meet the needs identified by the community itself. Individuals and families are supported to participate more fully in society by improving their education, using the environment and conservation, and by promoting economic growth and regeneration through the creation of green/eco jobs, volunteering opportunities and partnerships with likeminded organisations. Everything the organisation does aims to be as sustainable as possible and this ethos is forwarded to all staff, volunteers and the community.
