Community Sparks Change

Community Sparks Change is a dynamic, Black and Asian-led organization dedicated to fostering equity, justice, and opportunity in the Lambeth borough. With years of experience working closely with the Lambeth Resident Engagement Team, local businesses, and grassroots organizations, we create impactful projects that uplift Black, Asian, and Multiethnic residents, as well as LGBTQ+ residents, disabled individuals, and women and girls. At the heart of our mission is community engagement, mentorship, and intervention. We specialize in delivering sports, dance, and interactive workshops that serve as powerful tools for personal development, crime prevention, and employability. Our latest initiative focuses on using football, boxing, and interactive games to mentor young people, fostering positive change and long-term growth. We have a strong track record of organizing community events and partnerships, including collaborations with Lambeth Council, the Norwood Forum, and local charities. Through our commitment to building a fair and equitable Lambeth, we provide tailored support that ensures every resident—especially young children and their families—has access to the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive. One of our flagship initiatives, the Borough Glove Cup, brings together the best fighters from all 32 London boroughs for a one-day boxing event, celebrating talent, discipline, and community spirit.
