At CoMoveIT our mission is to achieve the best possible personal mobility for people with complex movement disorders. The CoMoveIT Smart is an easy to use head or head-foot steering system for a powered wheel chair, unique in the world. It auto-calibrates right after a plug-and-drive install. The internal smart algorytm, assures that the wheel chair adapts to the user, avoiding high tension and stress. This all results in intuitive driving with a therapeutic effect. The development followed a 100% evidence based approach combining clinical and technical scientific facts and insights. Now CoMoveIT makes this happen for as many people as possible, simply because it’s needed, because it’s their human right. CoMoveIT cooperates with wheelchair suppliers for sales, distribution and installation, and supports them as well as therapists with dedicated training at our CoMoveIT Academy. CoMoveIT is the first spin-off company of KU Leuven Campus Bruges (Belgium) with a true collaborative spirit of different disciplines of academic expertise, industrial knowhow and entrepreneurship.
